A really good paint pen is crucial. I used a very temperamental paint pen and it really made a mess of things!!!

Surely, one of the first things to say is not to use fountain pen ink with a dip pen for calligraphy practise. You really need to say how fountain pen ink differs from calligraphy ink and how to make fountain pen suitable for a dip pen.

These pens reminds of sone paint pens i got at hobby lobby from the brand master touch they work the same as these sharpies! The only difference is they come in more colors and there a little less opaque

Woah!!! Mayb this is the solution of the common brush pen problem... fast fraying. Or maybe more forgiving to be use on a normal paper....i hope more and more color will come out soon. Thank you for sharing.

I would LOVE a fountain pen with a soft nib to easily write beautiful letters... not as beautiful as your for sure... but, I will never be able to afford such a pen. But i do love fountain pens as RA gas hit my joints quite bad, and i love to write and draw, but a basic pen usually needs me to grip it tightly and press down, which i am just not able to do... even less so after the last surgery leaving me... well, a mess but that doesn't matter. Just meant that i love that fountain pens allow me to write or draw so much longer since artistic things, that i only found i could do.. sorta do.. also late in life.. but have saved my life. SOOOOOOOO happy you could get this pen and enjoy your amazing art so much easier!!!!! Have fun!!!😊 Edit.. ok... so, I'm an idiot and just looked to realize this video is almost a year old... you've no doubt been loving it!! 🤦‍♀️😊

So where is the actual 'journaling' part? You just paint all over the Bible to make it look pretty rather than actually read and understand what it's telling you? Oh how Christianity is falling so hard...

@howtohandletter, They sell a 2 pc set of these exact markers in the colors black and white at Michael’s craft store! 😆 so you don’t have to buy the full set! ….at least in my area.

The lighter first color swatch could be because sometimes the very top of a new paint pan needs a lot more work to activate and as you use it it gets easier. I don't remember the reason why. These are beautiful colors. Glad you're getting glasses... it has helped me so much. I'm also a mom and love art but was just busy with life and put vision off. But glasses have helped so much! Got larger lenses in a color I love because I wanted to like wearing them and not have the rims in my veiw as much.

3 minutes in! 😂 The Sharpies you’re using are acrylic. Acrylic is known for opacity. Karin Decobrush is dye ink, beloved in the mediums it’s used in for transparency as that creates luminosity. Turquoise is not aqua and aqua is not turquoise. There is one that goes great in a seascape and one that goes great on postcards and toys. I think it hey should explain what they’re giving you when they send you things.

My handwriting is garbage. I wasn’t bad in 6th grade, which was in 1966 😂 Tough teacher who happened to live across the road.😂 Swine flu got her.😔 I only learned the slanted. Worksheets would be great. I still love pencils.😂 I’m definitely old school.

I love the upright. I love having words to practice/trace, but also maybe one page that is the individual letters. All of your hand lettering/ handwriting styles are my favorite!😍

Do they reactivate if water is added once they are dry? Im wondering if I can use them along watercolors.
